This is your chance. We're after a Marketing Manager to join our team at ChristchurchNZ. Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Brand you will work in partnership with other teams across the organisation, ensuring the city's story is weaved into campaigns and all marketing activity to support economic growth and showcase Christchurch as a desirable place to live, work, and visit. This role will have a focus on supporting our urban development team to deliver on their campaigns and projects, as well as delivering various marketing initiatives alongside other colleagues across business events and the city brand. You will provide support in four key areas: Strategy development and implementation: developing and delivering marketing strategies, targeted campaigns and marketing plans that meet ChristchurchNZ's strategic goals. Marketing and brand activity: collaborating on marketing outcomes, managing campaign development and delivery ensuring alignment with branding guidelines, develop creative and media briefs working with internal resources as well as external suppliers. Project management: manage marketing projects to meet scope, timelines, and budget, reporting on progress. Relationship management and communication: connect teams for effective collaboration and take the lead in ensuring internal teams are informed about marketing activities related to their area. We're looking for someone who: Has proven marketing skills and experience in developing and implementing strategy (7+ years) and experience in digital marketing and campaign development. Is a confident communicator, exceling in relationship management and managing multiple stakeholders A tertiary qualification in marketing, public relations, or a related field A strong understanding of brand strategy Significant experience in marketing and communications project management oversight, budget management and reporting on business metrics Can juggle multiple projects across multiple functions, meeting tight deadlines with impeccable attention to detail Really cares about the future of Christchurch and our ambition for this place. Preferably you'll have experience working in a matrix organisation and an understanding of economic development activity too.
