With 8 showrooms throughout the country, we are continuously improving and building our retail environment, increasing our range of products and services, allowing customers greater access to a total home furnishing and decor experience.To help us with this, we are searching for an experienced and talented Marketing Manager to lead the marketing team, based in our Christchurch head office.About the roleThe overall purpose of this role is to manage the execution and optimisation of the McKenzie & Willis annual marketing plan to successfully drive sales, grow market share and overall awareness of our brand.
This includes, but is not limited to, the development and delivery of effective marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, social media & digital marketing and in store collateral.
You will also be responsible for managing McKenzie & Willis' annual marketing budget, allocating spend to activities to drive effective campaigns in each of our 8 markets.Reporting to the General Manager and line managing a talented and hardworking team of 2, this role is incredibly varied with scope to be a part of additional projects over and above business as usual.
Other key functions of this role include:Leading and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to create, implement, and monitor marketing campaigns.Align campaigns with the overall marketing strategy to support sales goals.Monitor and analyse campaign performance, making data-driven adjustments to optimise results.Support the maintenance and development of the new McKenzie & Willis website.Manage the company's social media presence, including posting regular updates.Collaborate with internal teams to develop internal and external marketing materials.About youA proven leader with at least 5 years' experience in a marketing manager or senior marketing roleExperience managing third party agenciesExperience working closely with leadership teams and an ability to relate to people at all levelsAbility to be self-motivated and take the initiative as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Have a sound understanding of digital marketing tools and what success looks like using these tools, such as Meta Business Suite, Google AdWords and email marketing Effective communication and collaboration skills.Proficient in Microsoft OfficeEnthusiastic, professional with a 'can-do' attitudeCommitted to working as a member of the teamFlexibility, adaptability and willingness to take on a wide range of tasksThe McKenzie & Willis mission is to 'Inspire, Advise and Amaze' We are looking for a candidate who embodies these ideals and strives to deliver this every day.
