You will oversee market research, branding, public relations, advertising, events, and promotions while collaborating with other functional teams to align marketing initiatives with company goals and ensure a consistent message across all platforms.It will require you to develop and implement strategic marketing plans, lead all marketing activities and track and analyse campaign performance.
All stakeholder communications, PR support and organisational media will fall within your remit.Our Events team and Digital Brand Manager report into this role so you will have experience in leading and supporting a small team - ensuring they are kicking their goals.No two days are the same, this role has a wide scope and requires the ability to work across multiple projects and initiatives with attention to detail and project management skills.This isn't your typical Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm role; given we are a sports organisation, weekend work should be expected from time to time.The BenefitsAll the tools required to get the job done as well as access to tickets to matches, plenty of free on-site car parking and being based at Eden Park, the home of NZ's best sporting venue.Skills and experienceWe are looking for someone who can continue to build brand awareness, drive recruitment campaigns to get more people into the game and drive new audiences to engage with the Auckland Rugby brand and attend our events.
You will be self-motivated, have the ability to communicate clearly across a wide range of stakeholders (internal & external) along with:Tertiary degree preferable in Marketing or Communications5+ years' experience in a similar roleProven track record of delivering successful marketing campaigns, especially across digital media.Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.Sound knowledge of the technology that underpins modern communication activitiesAuckland Rugby is an equal opportunity employer.
