The Opportunity: We are seeking for a Marketing Manager to join our high-performing Dairy team on an8 Month Fixed Term Contract. You will join our Auckland team reporting to the Head of Portfolio – Dairy, taking responsibilityfor leading the strategic marketing direction and P&L delivery for the Beverages portfolio.
This role is an integral member of the Dairy team that will develop and execute a plan to drive growth for their portfolio, with a consideration for both branded & private label, across all channels.

Key responsibilities: Portfolio & Brand Strategy: Develop and execute long-term growth strategies, manage brand planning, and collaborate cross-functionally to align portfolio initiatives with business goals.Brand & Product Management: Serve as the brand champion, overseeing brand equity, lifecycle management, pricing, and private label opportunities.Commercial Acumen: Own portfolio P&L, optimize expenditure, and drive profitable growth through strategic initiatives and commercialization.Product Development: Lead consumer-validated NPD plans and manage projects through to successful execution while ensuring profitability.Integrated Communications: Deliver impactful, multi-channel communications, manage creative processes, and optimize media planning with agency partners.People Leadership: Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented culture, mentor team members, and engage with stakeholders across functions.Key Skills: 8+ years in marketing management roles, with strong FMCG experience.Expertise in portfolio strategy, brand management, and actionable insights.Proven experience in NPD and financial acumen, including P&L management.Leadership competencies include strategic thinking, delivering results, fostering growth, collaboration, and embracing change.A passion for marketing, and an interest in current marketing best practiceThis is an exciting role and opportunity to join the Goodman Fielder marketing team, where you have the ability to lead the marketing thinking for your portfolio with the support of a larger organisation.
