This is an exciting opportunity to join Bidfood, the largest wholesale food distributor in New Zealand, on a 12 month fixed term contract.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing, implementing and optimising our digital capabilities across a mix of channels.
We are looking for someone to transform our digital marketing capabilities. From enhancing our online customer experience, increasing the effectiveness of our campaigns, to using the power of data to unlock insights, this role is pivotal in delivering sustainable growth into the business.
This role is perfect for you if you are a strategic thinker, embrace problem solving, and are driven to get the job done.
Overview of responsibilities:
Develop, lead and implement the digital marketing strategy for Bidfood. Understand the priorities and build the road map for digital maturity.
Ensure our owned online channels are set up for optimum effectiveness, and set up new channels to help us better deliver to the marketing strategy.
Work collaboratively with agencies, the marketing team, and IT team to deliver projects, understanding how we overcome and manage integrations and automations where required.
Define the work required to restructure the category tree and mega menu function on our ecommerce platform, and develop best practice guidelines for products images and descriptions.
Work with a web developer and the team to implement enhancements to our corporate website. Optimise performance, resolve technical issues, and improve the customer journey.
Explore and understand the opportunity for moving to a CRM marketing system, the role of AI, and programmatic in our digital strategy.
Insights and Analysis:
Build, monitor and analyse performance across digital campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement.
Ensure that our GA4 set up is correct, with accurate tracking from acquisition to purchase.
Set up deeper customer segmentations and create audience profiling for more effective targeting.
Team and business upskill and alignment:
Upskill and engage the marketing team and business on the digital plan, and embed new capabilities into the existing stream of work across the team.
