ASB is one of New Zealand's most loved brands - think Ben & Amy, the ASB Classic, Clever Kash and Goldstein.
It's a brand with 175 years of history.
175 years of helping our customers get One Step Ahead.
We've achieved all of this by doing what we do best - championing innovation and fresh thinking whilst being guided by our values - Caring, Passion and Courage.
We're looking for a seasoned marketing professional and proven leader, to join our award-winning team as Marketing Manager Business.
Responsibilities: Deliver on our business and corporate banking and brand KPIs in a way that is true to our ASB values and consistent with our purpose to 'help all New Zealanders to progress financially'.
Develop and implement strategies to grow ASB's profile and reputation as a business bank.
Plan, lead, and influence project teams to deliver multi-channel partner campaigns, including the utilisation of live experience/events, digital, social, PR, thought leadership and media channels to best leverage market opportunities.
Build and manage very effective relationships and project teams with a wide group of internal and external stakeholders to deliver the strategic partnership plan.
Demonstrate your passion for B2B as well as our customers in everything you do.
Be the customer champion, ensuring that the strategies you develop and campaigns we deliver are customer led and insight based.
Understand how this activity is performing and ensure we continually optimise and learn to be best in market.
Showcase your great stakeholder management experience, working closely with the business GMs, distribution heads, product, and strategy teams to ensure that you understand the priorities and opportunities.
Be proactive in developing short-term solutions and long-term strategies.
Ensure that processes and policies are in place to identify, manage and mitigate risk.
What you'll bring to our team: A depth of marketing experience acquired over 7+ years, that spans both strategy and seamless go-to-market delivery and B2B and/or complex environments.
Experience leveraging sponsorships and partnerships to build profile and connection with industries and customers.
Superior written communications skills and experience in content and thought leadership projects.
An ability to stay calm under pressure and prioritise what will really make a difference.
A passion for good creative and understanding of media channel planning to maximise it.
An attitude of 'learn it all' over 'know it all'.
Fantastic relationship skills that I'll use to engage with both internal and external stakeholders.
Clear and proactive communication skills.
Leadership skills demonstrated through how I take ownership for driving the work that I do and how I lead my team.
A can-do attitude and a collaborative approach where I involve others in the development of my work and keep the wider team well informed of my progress.
A caring approach where I live the ASB values every day and encourage others to do the same.
What we can offer: In return, you will work for an organisation which places huge importance and focus on its people.
The sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
You'll work in a successful and supportive team environment and be a part of the growth story that is ASB.
As part of our commitment to diversity & inclusion, we cultivate a flexible and supportive work environment that meets the needs of our people and our business.
