Marketing Assistants/Coordinators (Marketing & Communications) Egmont Honey is a growing player in the Manuka Honey market in New Zealand and around the world. We are growing rapidly and have just established a second shift, this is a newly established opportunity to join our team and support with the newly established second shift for our production facility based at our office in Bell Block, Taranaki.

We have a very exciting opportunity for a Marketing Executive to join our office in Bell Block, New Plymouth, Taranaki covering for Parental Leave. This is an ideal role for a commercially minded individual, to gain international experience working for one of Taranaki's best-known brands. This contract will be an immediate start and end date is January 2026.
Responsibilities for Sales & Marketing Administrator Execute digital marketing campaigns through multiple channels including Meta, Google Ads, EDM and Web. Create meaningful and engaging social media content in line with the wider marketing strategy. Manage backend of website including regular theme and content updates, troubleshooting website issues, maintaining stock levels and customer queries. Perform regular SEO analysis and write blog articles according to best practices. Analyse digital performance across all channels and pivot marketing strategy as necessary. Be the voice of Egmont Honey and maintain high levels of engagement and support through all communication. Support our global customer base with marketing and brand collateral. Support the planning and execution of trade shows and events globally. Keep up to date with the latest opportunities across digital marketing. Support the ideation and creation of NPD. Manage external brand and design agencies to deliver on brief and on time. Drive Egmont Honey to be the most recognised Manuka Honey brand globally. Key Candidate Requirements • Being flexible and willing to roll sleeves up to complete tasks required.
• Ability to work independently & as a member of a team.
• Initiative & ability to work under pressure.
• Bring innovative and new ideas to the team.
• 2+ years' experience in a similar marketing role.
• Strong copywriting skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud and/or Canva Pro.
• Proficient in website management.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A high level of professionalism.
• The ability to work to strict time constraints and prioritise workload.
• A friendly and approachable manner.
This position will be for 40 hours per week between Monday-Friday.
