Event Management (Marketing & Communications) Full time Competitive salary with Kiwisaver on top of base Fidelity Life has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing, Events & Engagement Lead to come on board. Reporting to the Senior Channel Marketing and Engagement Manager, this newly created role is responsible for leading, developing and managing all aspects of Fidelity Life's involvement in events and sponsorship as well as adviser engagement. This is a permanent, fulltime role, based in our Auckland CBD office with hybrid working options available. In this role, you'll oversee planning and executing events, sponsorships, and adviser engagement. This includes developing strategies, creating communications, and using digital platforms to develop and execute campaigns. You'll also lead efforts to enhance the adviser experience, ensuring flawless execution and cultivating a highly engaged adviser audience. This role presents a unique opportunity to transform how advisers and partners engage with Fidelity Life, we are seeking someone to elevate our approach and take adviser engagement to new heights! Some day-to-day tasks include: Lead all aspects of events, sponsorships, and Adviser engagement. Translate the business and marketing objectives to develop an annual calendar of activity of events, sponsorships, and adviser engagement activity. Identify and work with a range of stakeholders to develop the plan and be comfortable partnering with and working alongside senior leaders get appropriate input and endorsement. Elevating adviser experiences driving the holistic adviser engagement experience across all our events Raising the bar to how advisers experience Fidelity Life. Be passionate and curious about the adviser, their needs and wants and how Fidelity Life might meet them. Translate this into opportunities to elevate advisers experience with Fidelity Life. Developing key principles of what it means to have an experience with Fidelity Life. And bring this to life within all adviser interactions that they have with Fidelity Life. Providing support to the marketing team. Support and in some cases be leading the execution of some initiatives the marketing team bring to market. Executing a range of channel marketing and communications plans and key themes aligned to marketing cycles, projects, product changes, and other marketing drivers to support the priorities and engagement of all channel partners. About You To thrive in this role, you'll need over 8 years of experience in influential positions where you've delivered engaging experiences or campaigns. You're adept at generating innovative ideas and problem-solving and will have a proven track record of executing brand and marketing strategies effectively, reaching broad audiences and achieving targeted outcomes. Your ability to take initiative, work independently, provide valuable advice and recommendations to diverse internal and external stakeholders, and influence strategic decisions will be key to excelling in this role. Together with this you will bring: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing or communications A structured approach to project management, ensuring tasks are meticulously planned and executed on schedule Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills Marketing skill set with events or multifaceted activations experience Marketing and communications planning experience Can produce clear, persuasive writing and reporting with a creative touch. Copy writing experience Creative content briefing experience- Writing and communicating clear briefs, feedback and support for any internal or external partners who are creating assets, artwork or any content for campaigns and events.
