We export over 50% of our salmon to markets like USA, Australia, Singapore, and China, mainly under the Mt Cook Alpine Salmon brand and produce smoked salmon under the Aoraki brand.
Our team of over 200 are spread mostly across the South Island at our farms in Twizel, our processing plant in Timaru, our production facility in Christchurch, and our corporate office in Queenstown.
As we continue to grow and evolve into a food business, we're seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a Marketing Coordinator.What you'll be doingIn this role, you'll be at the heart of our outreach efforts, working closely with our GM Marketing and Marketing Executive in managing and promoting both our premium brands.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage our social media presence, and help run events that showcase our exceptional salmon products.

Social Media & Content CreationManage our social media profiles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok) to enhance audience engagement.Help create compelling content that resonates with our followers and reflects our brand's values.
You'll be working with photographers, videographers, content creators, and influencers.Monitor food trends, respond to messages, and keep our online community buzzing.Manage content on the website, create EDMs, etc.2.
Event ManagementPlan, coordinate, and execute events that leave a lasting impression.
From food demonstrations to food festivals, you'll be the driving force behind our events.Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors/service providers to ensure seamless event logistics.3.
Brand AdvocacyBe the face of Mt Cook Alpine Salmon at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.Network and build relationships with influencers, chefs, and fellow foodies.Work on sponsorship opportunities that align with our brand values.4.
