ADInstruments have an exciting opportunity to join our team as the Marketing Coordinator for the ANZ region. If you are looking for a varied and flexible marketing role with an international company, we'd love to hear from you!
The business
At ADI we are making science easier. We're a leader in our field and have the team to make it happen. We are passionate about science and technology and creating the best solutions for our customers. Proudly created in Dunedin, our hardware and software are used by thousands of scientists and educators around the world in top research institutions, from Otago University to Harvard and Oxford.
The role
The position is based in Dunedin and works closely with the Global Marketing team and the ANZ Sales and Support teams, based in Sydney. As the ANZ Marketing Coordinator, you will coordinate and execute marketing plans and activities for the ANZ region that will grow awareness, generate inquiries, and create ongoing engagement with our products and people.
A major element of the role is coordinating with our Sydney-based Sales and Support teams on their requirements for attending in-person events and conferences. This could involve organising logistics, sending emails to encourage visitors to engage with us at the event, and coordinating booth graphics and swag. You'll need to be organised and able to multitask. Some travel domestically and to Australia to attend conferences and events will be required.
You will also support the sales teams with their email and digital marketing. This includes creating invitations for workshops and webinars, and putting out an interesting and click-worthy monthly e-newsletter for the ANZ region. You'll be self-motivated to own and drive digital marketing initiatives for the region, from making compelling social media campaigns to creating digital content like e-books or customer stories.
Our customers are life science researchers and educators, so a scientific qualification or experience is a distinct advantage.
Skills and experience
This role would suit someone with a marketing qualification and previous B2B experience who can hit the ground running and take on new challenges with a global organisation. You'll be an excellent communicator and collaborator with proven experience in event management, email marketing or marketing automation (e.g. Pardot or Hubspot).
Advantageous to your application:
Scientific background and/or qualification
Graphic design skills (Illustrator, Photoshop)
Writing skills - blogs, articles, interviews
Video / Photographic skills
Social media marketing experience
Applications close Friday 8 November. Shortlisting will commence immediately.
