New Zealand Trails – Queenstown, South Island
If you were to dream up your perfect day at work, would it be one where you wake up and pop on whatever outfit takes your fancy - activewear, leopard print pants, a blazer? We don't mind! You jump on your bike or in your car and, avoiding the headache of Queenstown traffic, you head to leafy Arrowtown. Arriving at a sunny, warm office, you're greeted by smiles from your team and cuddles from the office doggos. You fire up the coffee machine to make a Wolf coffee and then head to your stand-up desk where you open your laptop knowing that you've got a bunch of tasks lined up to smash out and some interesting projects to collaborate on. Throughout the day, you work efficiently on things that actually matter. You make decisions, and you know your boss has your back. Problems sometimes come up but you focus on the solutions and work with your team to move forward. 4.30pm rolls around and you close your laptop. You get changed into your gear ready for a quick Sawpit Loop, your yoga class or night ski and you leave for the day (on time!) feeling like you've achieved a lot and knowing there isn't any stress to follow you home.

New Zealand Trails is a Kiwi-owned adventure travel company that runs trips all over New Zealand, with our team in Arrowtown handling the details. We love what we do and have been doing it now for over 20 years. As we head into our biggest summer season ever, we're looking for a Marketing Manager, a talented one with big things in mind for the future.
The people on our team all have different personalities, strengths, experience and areas of expertise. What we all have in common though is that:
We are kind, honest and positive.
We are really switched on, but we don't take ourselves too seriously.
We are critical thinkers, relationship builders and excellent communicators.
We are doers - we know how to execute, and we get things done!
We think about the big picture while also having our eye on the details.
We focus on solutions not problems.
We execute to a plan but we're also thoughtfully reactive.
We love to learn, grow and get better at what we do.
We are results-driven – we want to succeed as individuals and as a company.
We are passionate about New Zealand and about showing our guests the trip of their lifetime.
We really want to be here!

Be thoughtfully reactive and have an eye for opportunities - you can identify trends and quickly implement appropriate changes to our marketing strategy.
Be an excellent listener - you'll work closely with our sales team and our CEO who have tons of experience in our brand and market.
Have experience working with external contractors.
Have excellent project management skills.
Be a team player but also driven to work independently.
Take pride in your work and be comfortable with accountability.
Be able to execute! You'll be happy to get stuck into the day-to-day marketing work alongside your team.
At New Zealand Trails you'll benefit from:
Working in a tight team with a bunch of awesome people who are keen to help you learn and grow.
Coaching by some of NZ tourism's most successful and experienced operators and plenty of support as you find your feet in the position.
