Marketing & Communications Lead - Te Araroa Location: Wellington (fulltime, or with flexible hours, 25-30 hours per week) Are you a strategic marketer and storyteller passionate about the outdoors and sustainability? Do you want to shape the future of one of the world's most iconic long-distance trails? Te Araroa Trust is looking for a Marketing & Communications Lead to share the story of Aotearoa's 3,000 km long pathway and our journey of discovery and connection to te taiao.
In this role, you'll bring Te Araroa's regenerative vision to life, building and managing a strong brand presence across New Zealand and globally. From creating compelling campaigns that celebrate the trail's diverse landscapes, people and culture, to launching new trail experiences that deepen walkers' engagement, you will raise Te Araroa's profile locally and internationally. You will also build strong relationships with sponsors and partners, driving opportunities to support our mission and grow Te Araroa's impact.
Who We're Looking For: A creative and strategic thinker with as much experience in marketing and communications as possible! Someone with a proven track record in brand management, product development and adding value to commercial partnerships.
