Now we are looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team. What you'll be doing - Te whakamahere This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop their marketing career, working on exciting projects to promote Aotearoa New Zealand to the rest of the world.
This role provides marketing support across the NZ Story team including the FernMark License Programme. Your primary focus will be supporting our digital marketing efforts, assisting the Digital Marketing Manager with management of our social media channels, newsletters, websites and toolkit, as well as reporting and insights.
You will also provide general support to the marketing and communications team where needed.
What you'll need to be successful O Pukenga:
You will have experience in digital marketing; ideally having managed social media channels, including growing audience engagement. You'll be used to supporting a team. It is important you are an enthusiastic contributor, not afraid to support where required to get the job done. This could be marketing coordination tasks to more general administration support. Highly organised and planned able to plan and implement a range of tasks each week, managing workload proactively to ensure deadlines are met. Great at prioritising; spends time on what is important; zeros in on the critical, eliminates roadblocks; seeks to clarify when required. Self-starter; responsive, proactive, bold and energetic. Agile; able to react fast under pressure, especially in regard to social media requirements. Creative; able to come up with new ideas to ensure our social media channels are engaging audiences. Passionate about Aotearoa New Zealand; will see the value of our country's brand and be inspired to share stories of our place to domestic and international audiences.
