Position Description
The Marketing Assistant will support Mission's Marketing and Cellar Door teams by managing and executing all Mission's digital marketing and direct sales initiatives. This will include promotion of Mission wine, events, restaurant, tourism, accommodation, and hospitality activities, as well as execution of brand communications across all digital communication platforms.
This role will take the lead in the Mission Rewards Loyalty Plan, developing a program of engaging sales offers within the communications plan, and include management of the websites, e-newsletters, social media, and social media advertising.
Marketing support and coordinating activities will include management and execution of the Wine Show and endorsement strategy for all brands, development of key sales support and marketing materials for our sales team and the trade, and support for hospitality and events. This role will also be backup to the Marketing Manager for marketing activities as and when required.
It goes without saying that you will be enthusiastic about wine and ideally have previous FMCG experience, preferably with premium brands.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the following:
Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized
Experience with relevant digital marketing platforms
Strong background in content creation
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent numerical skills
