At our core, we understand that planting communities know their patch best – our role is to amplify these grassroots efforts.Trees That Count is managed by the Project Crimson Trust, a nature charity that has been at the forefront of restoring and protecting native trees in Aotearoa New Zealand since 1990.The roleBe a pivotal part of our small but talented marketing and communications team, you'll be responsible for leading and delivering our marketing strategy and managing a brand that people love.We have some big goals to increase our impact in the planting and protection of native trees. We'll need your marketing expertise to identify customer growth opportunities and showcase and evolve our brand, while honouring Te Ao Maori.You'll work collaboratively with our product and development, UX, customer and sales teams. You'll help us seize growth opportunities through the execution of targeted digital marketing activities, brand awareness and above the line campaigns.Core responsibilities will include:Developing marketing and communication strategies that are aligned to our vision and strategic objectives.Spearheading marketing campaigns and product launches.Informing and collaborating on direction of written content for our website, social pages, marketing campaigns, blogs and newsletters.Overseeing and expanding PR strategy, and support the Chief Executive with internal and external communications.Pursuing and leveraging media opportunities.Supporting a wide range of digital channels including; website, social media and email marketing.Partnering with designers and creative agencies to create beautiful imagery and content.Conducting post implementation reviews to ensure we are continually learning and optimising performance and outcomes.Delivering effective management of marketing budgets.Providing leadership to your team and across the organisation by creating and maintaining a challenging and supportive environmentA bit about youWe are seeking an established marketer with experience at the mid to senior level. You are a critical thinker, who enjoys a challenge and knows how to manage initiatives from idea to execution. You encourage curiosity and collaboration in your team.You are proactive, open minded and happy to be hands-on in delivering across a broad range of marketing and communications activities. You'll love Aotearoa New Zealand's environment and be passionate about making a positive impact towards its future.What you'll bring:Around 8 years' experience in marketing and communications rolesExperience crafting and executing targeted lead generation campaigns that drive results (B2B experience ideal, but not essential)An existing skillset in a broad spectrum of digital marketing tools, including SEO/SEM platforms, Meta, LinkedIn Advertising, and Google AnalyticsConfidence developing, executing and optimising digital performance marketing campaigns and creating contentExperience tracking growth metrics, analysing results and taking action on what you discoverExperience running creative social media campaigns across a variety of channelsExceptional writing skills with a deep understanding of how to write for a specific audience and speak our brand languageProject management: leading and managing streams of workDemonstrated commitment to embracing Te Ao Maori and the promotion of tikanga and Te Reo MaoriA keenness to innovate, learn and grow and deliver impactFor youWe have a flexible work from home policy, you'll enjoy 5 weeks of annual leave and a paid day off on your birthday.
