Working closely with the wider marketing and communications team, this role will partner with business units across the organisation to plan, create, and execute multi-channel marketing plans that deliver to Council's strategic goals.As a digital specialist, you will provide subject matter expertise in digital marketing, particularly Google Ads, search, and e-mail marketing. You will be responsible for developing and executing Rotorua Lakes Council's digital marketing strategy to enhance our online presence, increase awareness, leverage data insights to increase following, and drive positive engagement with our community.Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role is an important part of Council's "internal agency": marketing, communications, design, and digital. So it goes without saying we are looking for a team player/collaborator with a positive, can-do attitude. About you: You'll have a tertiary qualification in marketing or similar and have a minimum of 3 years of experience working in a digital marketing role.You've got a handle on doing campaigns across the channel multiverse and understand that it's horses for courses to engage your target audience.You have depth of experience across various digital channels, including display, video, search, email, social, automation, and mobile marketing tactics.Data is your friend, and you're a proficient user of digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics and Meta.You are experienced in managing projects and working with a wide range of stakeholders in a large organisation.You'll have a sense of humour and thrive in a fast-paced and fun working environment.
