This includes advice on climate change and resilience through to development planning, engineering design, construction, and asset management. With a strong current and future portfolio of asset management assignments, we are looking for a Maritime Civil Engineer with a particular interest in maintaining our client's valuable waterfront assets.You will work with a dedicated team of passionate and skilled professionals who support you in developing your career in a way that aligns with your skills, knowledge or aspirations. This role provides opportunities to be part of collaborative multidisciplinary project teams on large and small scale maritime, port and coastal projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.What we will like about youExperience in undertaking and managing inspections and conditions assessments to recognised industry standards (i.e. PIANC, WSCAM etc.)Experience in preparing cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents in relation to the maintenance, repair and construction of maritime infrastructure.An interest in asset management and desire to deliver outstanding results using latest digital technologies and innovations.You should be, or be working toward, becoming a Chartered Engineer (CPEng or equivalent). Flexibility, proactivity and an understanding of the importance of teamwork in a consultancy setting are essential attributes in this role.
