Our client is a Marine Electrical business specializing in Control & Monitoring systems for Superyachts.
With many years in the industry, and a team of electrical design engineers, inspectors, electricians, and programmers, they produce their own system, interfacing with Power Generation, Hydraulic, Pneumatic, HVAC, and all manner of systems that make today's Superyacht's tick.
The team operates from New Zealand's largest Superyacht refit & repair center.
Their travel lift is the largest in the southern hemisphere!
Their work is varied, challenging, and of highest quality.
With sustainability top of mind, you will also be an integral team member, building a 'Greener Future", for Auckland's two new fully electric ferries.
About the role Field work commissioning & fault-finding of systems Manufacture & installation of Seatouch Control & Monitoring systems.
Electrical installation and service work on LV (230/400vAC) systems Electrical installation and service work on ELV (12/24/48vDC) systems  Customer facing, so good communication and interpersonal skills a must.
Travel to overseas locations to work on Superyachts across the world (I want this job) General assistance to the company directors and other engineers Work hard!

About you The type of person we are looking for will demonstrate initiative, drive, flexibility and enjoy being hands-on, working with a variety of other trades and engineers.
While we are keen on attracting someone with skills as close to the above, as possible, we would look at those who have Industrial Electrical experience who can see themselves cross-training into Marine and working with the world's most luxurious yachts.
