Salary: $100,000 - $110,000

As our Maori Equity Lead, you will be part of a new, innovative, and dynamic team that will lead the integration of equity principles and Te Tiriti o Waitangi values into the development and delivery of services.

Mo to matou ropu - About our team Equity is everyone's responsibility across Te Whatu Ora, MHAIDS. The Equity Maori Lead role is part of the Maori Leader Group under the MHAIDS Director, Maori. The purpose of the Equity Lead is to provide stewardship and advice to the Senior Leaders in the MHAIDS Tamariki and Rangatahi sector.
Mou - About you You will have a proven ability to build constructive relationships across health community networks and providers, with strong connections at the service delivery level.
You will be able to demonstrate awareness of equity issues and have an understanding of Tikanga Maori. An understanding of the significance of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and how to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way is key to succeeding in this role.
