Manufacturing Fitter

We are seeking a Manufacturing Fitter to work for an equipment manufacturing company in Christchurch, Dorset.
Responsibilities: Assemble and fit a diverse range of mechanical products.
Conduct small fabrication work and prototyping.
Maintain and repair high-pressure cylinders.
Operate hand and power tools, such as grinders and drills.
Ensure that the workspace is maintained according to 5S principles.
Required Experience and Skills: Previous experience working under manufacturing environments.
Mechanical background will be advantageous.
Proven ability to read and interpret P&ID and basic mechanical/electrical drawings.
Experience with 12/24 volt DC electrical systems.
Excellent organizational skills within a manufacturing setting.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
Skilled in high-pressure pipework up to 300 Bar will be beneficial.
Schedule: Day Shift - Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday: 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Friday: 6:30 AM to 12:30 Noon.
