About Us: Alzheimers Whanganui is a growing Non-Government Organisation (NGO) committed to supporting and working with people with dementia and their families/whanau within a dementia friendly community.
About the Role: This part-time Manager position offers 25 hours of flexible work per week, providing an opportunity to lead our dynamic team into the future. The successful candidate will possess excellent management skills, including experience in contractual negotiations, business planning, and financial management.
Key Responsibilities: Leadership: Lead our team with vision, strategy, and effective communication skills.
Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensure efficient use of resources, and drive business growth.
Planning: Develop and implement business, service, and financial plans that align with our organisation's goals.
Requirements: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager who possesses:
A minimum of two years' experience in a managerial role.
Contractual negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of accurate report writing and data analysis.
A Diploma in Business Management or equivalent qualification.
Experience working with older adults, particularly those living with dementia.
What We Offer: We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a supportive work environment that values employee well-being.
