As the Manager Sustainable Investment, you will contribute to the success of BTNZ and its customers through leadership in sustainable investment, consistent with the broader Westpac New Zealand strategy and BT being a mainstream KiwiSaver provider. As the Manager Sustainable Investment, you will lead the delivery of BTNZ's Sustainable Investment (SI) Strategy and implementation of the SI Policy. You will support the investment team with the integration of ESG factors into the investment process, ensuring ESG data and climate-related metrics are available and analysed; and risks and opportunities are integral to investment decisions and stewardship activities. You will be key to meeting internal and external reporting obligations, presenting to the Board and the Investment Committee as required. This is an exciting time to join the team to support BT's Sustainable Investment profile through customer communications and participation in industry bodies and memberships whilst fulfilling responsibilities and obligations as a signatory (eg PRI, RIAA, NZAMI). Tertiary finance qualification essential Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in investment management (or equivalent) with an RI/ SI/ ESG focus Broad Responsible Investment / Sustainable Investment / Environmental, Social, and Governance related skills Management of Environmental, Social, and Governance metrics Post-grad in Sustainable Finance desirable Climate related experience and Stewardship desirable Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
