We are looking for an energetic and resourceful individual to oversee the provision of timely and value-for-money purchases of office services, supplies, and equipment to ensure smooth business operations.Key AccountabilitiesLead a team of executives in understanding the needs of end-users, undertake purchases in adherence to government procurement policies and management of contracts. The scope of office services, supplies, and equipment includes the following:General insurance and insurance brokerOverseas travel services and corporate hotelsPurchase, lease, and maintenance of office assets such as printers, pantry fridges, vending machinesStationery, pantry, and first aid suppliesAssist in the review and development of strategies to enhance cost savings/avoidance.Assist in the review and monitor of budget allocated to the branch.Job RequirementsMinimum 5 years of relevant working experience in purchasing/sourcing roles. Experience in budgeting and budget management and good understanding of government procurement policies will be an advantage.Self-driven and meticulous individual with active listening skills to gather information, translate into executable solution(s), and anticipate next steps in a fast-paced environment.Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills to devise contract solutions that are aligned with business needs and market practices.Possess strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills to engage various stakeholders.The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
