The team interprets existing GHG emissions standards, implements new standards, develops training to uplift the capability of our internal teams and our clients, provides subject matter support, prepares communications and thought leadership on GHG emissions, and participates in technical working groups. The team supports both audit and advisory clients.The opportunity:The GHG CoE team has an opportunity for a motivated Manager to join our team and deliver technically excellent work direct to clients through a commercial lens and support the internal GHG emissions technical needs of both KPMG engagement teams and our Advisory practice.This involves dealing directly with clients and supporting a range of divisions within KPMG.This role is initially structured as a 9 to 12-month fixed-term maternity cover, with the possibility of evolving into a permanent position. If extended, given the seniority of this role, there is a pathway to own opportunities and your development within the firm.Day to day you will:Provide technical subject matter support on GHG emissions accounting matters as well as practical implications relating to new and existing standards across various sectors, such as but not limited to the financial service sector and agricultural sector.
