A*StartCentral(A*SC) is A*STAR's open innovation platform for deep-tech startups. A*SC includes physical centre(s) and entrepreneurial and market access programmes to grow global deep-tech startups. We are seeking a team player to partake in developing and implementing venture building programmes for deep-tech startups. Personnel must have interest in nurturing founders for deep-tech startups and market access strategies. The personnel should have an acumen for marketing/corporate communications, partnership, and entrepreneurship in deep-tech arenas.Requirements:Degree in business, engineering, or life science.At least 5 years of prior experience in venture building in the deep-tech ecosystem.Candidates with marketing or corporate communication experience and budgetary planning would have an advantage. This includes digital marketing and editorial experience.Preference will be given to candidates with experience in programme managing deep-tech venture building programmes, including but not limited to community building, founders matching, startup bootcamps, pitching, and overseas market expansion.Strong interpersonal skills to engage deep-tech innovation and enterprise ecosystem partners, including venture capitalists, trade associations, corporations, academic institutions, government agencies, and service providers.Team player with the ability to handle ambiguity in a dynamic landscape.Excellent time management skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise work while being meticulous and organised.A self-starter, independent, and resourceful.Key Results Area:Increase awareness and engagement to attract talents to collaborate with A*StartCentral.Number of startups supported and time expedited to market with access to resources.Contribute towards innovation and enterprise initiatives and programmes that enable deep-tech startups to have market entry and traction.Track program and project status and generate reports, including budgetary control and commercialisation outcomes.The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
