The Opportunity We are seeking a Manager Organisational Planning and Performance to join the ORC Strategy & Customer directorate on a permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) basis in our Dunedin office.
The purpose of the role is to provide effective leadership and operational oversight to the Organisational Planning and Performance team.
This is a new team at the ORC which will bring together our corporate planning services alongside risk, business continuity and internal audit and business improvement.
This team's objective is to support the organisation to continue to improve planning and performance monitoring and ensure we're operating in an effective and efficient way, and in close alignment with our strategic directions.
As Manager Organisational Planning and Performance you will be responsible for:
Establishing and maintaining new functions related to operational risk management, business continuity planning, and internal audit/assuranceEnsuring corporate plans are delivered in line with local government planning cycles and working with the Manager Strategy to ensure they are in alignment with ORC's strategic directionsDeveloping an internal business planning cycle, alongside promoting innovation and continuous improvement across the businessReporting on and supporting Councillors to direct our organisational corporate plan developmentIf you can lead business planning and risk management while championing continuous improvement, then this is the role for you!
About You Our ideal candidate will have:
