Manager, Official Information Advisory at Ministry of Health, Wellington Key Responsibilities: Lead a high performing advisory team. Identify areas of interest and anticipate emerging issues to increase the range of proactively released material. Oversee the proactive release function for Ministerial decision-making documents across Ministry directorates and with Ministers' offices. Commission, advise on risk mitigation, ensure appropriate review, and publish a high volume of official information. What you'll do: You will provide hands-on support and lead a team to build the Ministry's capability and capacity for proactively releasing information, aligning with the provision of information programme of work, to deliver on the Government and Ministry priorities. This includes growing the organisation's machinery of government capability via training products that include the proactive release of information. Essential Qualifications and Skills: Very well-developed relationship management skills alongside deep and broad experience with the release of a range of official information. Comfortable providing hands-on support to the OI Advisory and other teams. Strong Machinery of Government experience. Proactive attitude towards improving systems and processes.
