Our City Council Nursery is dedicated to enhancing Porirua's environment by providing high quality plants, trees and shrubs to beautify public spaces, promote the benefits of planting native flora, and support community initiatives. You will: develop and implement a business development strategy consistently identify and follow up on new sales opportunities coach, mentor and lead a team to meet and exceed objectives build positive and enduring relationships with internal and external stakeholders promote the nursery business and resources to our community and businesses develop and implement work programmes, and operational schedules to ensure plant supply matches demand. ensure the nursery achieves forecasted income targets, and control expenditure hold responsibility for all operations of the nursery About you We're looking for a dynamic and motivated business development manager to take our nursery into new areas of growth. Ideally you'll have an appreciation for plants and gardening, across a variety of horticulture types.
