Drive sales growth, profitability and category solutions through management of the field sales team in NZ.Position SummaryThe Field Operations Manager:is key in developing and executing the strategic operational plan that contributes to profitable growth for Energizer.leads a team of Territory Managers and Sales Merchandisers to deliver a commercial outcome, and to influence and drive the team's sales performance across their channels of responsibility.works cross-functionally with internal teams to achieve stated business objectives and is highly visible, and passionately champions the cause for the field operations team.ResponsibilitiesAchievement of total business sales, profit and share targets.Provide leadership, direction, development, motivation, and support to the field sales team.Plan, control and reporting of the total operating budget for the field sales team.National field sales team head count, recruitment and retention, induction, performance management, career development and succession planning. To provide coaching and mentoring for direct reports.Execution and delivering results for all customer initiatives as agreed with National Account and Marketing teams.Achievement of ENR Best In Class stores standards and exceed customer expectations.Develop external customer relationships with key decision makers (Store Managers, Area Managers, Industry Associations) to deliver incremental sales through over and above sales drives.Drive overall workforce capacity planning using Promotional Time Summary (PTS) and CRM system.Leverage insights obtained through IRi / CRM / customer sell thru data, to support the team in driving sales opportunities in store and improve field sales team productivity.Drive continuous improvement and best practice.Plan and lead quarterly cycle meetings.Responsible for conducting safety and hazard inspections in consultation with employees; assessing and notifying the Occupational Health & Safety Committee of workplace hazards; undertaking corrective action to control identified risks; notifying Human Resources of all workplace accidents, injuries and / or near misses.Responsible for ensuring all Energizer policies and procedures are adhered to within area of responsibility.What we are looking forBusiness /Marketing, Commerce or related Diploma or Degree.Fluent English, Strong computer literacy, Current Driver License.Ability to travel.In depth understanding of NZ retail landscape across food, hardware, electrical and auto class of trade.Performance management experience and managing for performance.Sales-Customer Relationships, Achieving Sales results, management of field sales teams, Cost management, CRM Management.Marketing-Execution of marketing programs, Market Intelligence.Category/Finance-Analytical insights, data analysis, cost management.Logistics-Supply Chain, Customer Service.Demonstrated Sales Team Management -5+ years.FMCG Industry-5+ years.Come join us!
