We believe having a workforce that is diverse and inclusive, we are a pro-equity Health Organisation and this means that we will be better positioned to understand and serve our community.When you choose to work with us, we will offer you:A comprehensive orientation and induction to our organisation and your departmentAccess to clinical training and educationOpportunities to participate on local project and regional collaboration teamsManager Mental Health and Addictions Services1.0 FTE (80 hours per fortnight)Reporting to the Group Director Operations Taranaki, this position will provide both operational planning and leadership for their designated area of responsibility.The Manager Mental Health and Addictions Service will:Oversee service delivery and the implementation of new strategies, contribute to agreed projects within the service, and provide the day-to-day management of the service.Be part of the team that collaborates with Senior Medical, Nursing, and Allied Health Leaders to support, co-ordinate, and monitor teams and outcomes within all of these services.Work in collaboration with relevant external stakeholders and other providers of their services to achieve agreed service goals and promote open communication between all stakeholders – both internal and external to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Taranaki.To be successful it is important that you:Have experience post-registration in a clinical management position, preferably in mental health & addictions.Have at least 10 years post-graduate qualifications/experience in leadership and/or management.The successful candidate will be well supported with a comprehensive orientation and induction programme.
