Manager, ITSS (Desktop Infra) (3 years renewable contract) Manager, ITSS (Desktop Infra) (3 years renewable contract) Product Management & Development (Information & Communication Technology) · Oversee the strategic planning and execution of WOG ICT infrastructure projects within A*STAR. · Collaborate closely with GovTech and other government agencies to align A*STAR's infrastructure with WOG initiatives. · Manage the service delivery framework to ensure high-quality ICT services that meet the evolving needs of A*STAR users. · Coordinate the adoption and integration of GovTech initiatives, such as national cloud strategies, cybersecurity policies, and digital government solutions. · Monitor and report on the performance of WOG ICT services, ensuring SLAs and performance metrics are met or exceeded. · Facilitate cross-agency communication to identify synergies, reduce redundancies, and foster innovation in government ICT services. · Develop and oversee budgets for infrastructure projects, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources. · Establish and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage procurement processes in line with government policies and guidelines. · Provide leadership in change management, ensuring minimal disruption to services during the implementation of new technologies. · Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the ICT team. Qualifications and Skills · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience in a similar role. · Extensive experience in IT infrastructure management with a proven track record of successful project delivery in a government or large enterprise environment. · Understanding of government ICT policies, GovTech initiatives, and the WOG approach to digital transformation. · Experience in managing large-scale, cross-functional teams and projects with multiple stakeholders. · Proficient in IT service management methodologies, with ITIL certification highly regarded. · Strong financial acumen for budgeting, forecasting, and managing IT project finances. · Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and to negotiate effectively with vendors and partners. · Agile and adaptable to the fast-paced and evolving landscape of technology.
