In this pivotal role, you'll manage and enhance the group insurance risk framework, related group policies, and governance documentation, ensuring effective insurance risk management across the group. You'll spearhead the development and review of these frameworks and policies, managing the policy alignment system for robust control assurance, and drive innovation and continuous improvement through cutting-edge technology solutions.In this dynamic role, you'll build strong relationships with business divisions, providing expert advice and guidance to insurance risk managers and their teams. Your contributions will be vital in committee and board reporting meetings, and you'll play a key role in fostering an insurance risk culture that aligns with IAG's values and strategic goals. Join us to be the driving force behind a resilient and forward-thinking insurance risk governance framework, helping us navigate the complexities of the insurance landscape and achieve our ambitious goals!This is a permanent full-time role open to our office in Tamaki Makaurau (Auckland), New Zealand.Applications close Tuesday 26 November 2024 at 11:59pm.Minimum Requirements:To be successful in this role, you'll ideally meet the below criteria:Extensive experience in General Insurance (both commercial and personal lines).Proven expertise in developing, managing, and assuring risk frameworks.Relevant tertiary qualification and/or professional insurance qualification.Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized with strong attention to detail and forward planning.Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively to achieve shared objectives.IAG is the largest general insurance group in Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.
