Manager

We are looking for an experienced Manager to join our fun, fast-paced team. Support and training into the position will be provided. This is a rare opportunity for a full-time permanent role at Vangalas Ltd.

The role will include:

Leading the front of house team during a shift, with our Core Values in mind.

Ensuring all customers have a great experience and want to return.

Ensuring we are compliant with the Liquor Act at all times, including checking IDs, monitoring alcohol consumption to ensure no one becomes intoxicated, ensuring customers are leaving safely, and being aware of the whole venue.

Assisting with staff training on shift.

Setting the right atmosphere (lighting, music, temperature).

Communicating with the kitchen team, calling wait times on food, and checking that all tables are happy.

Daily checks and assisting with day-to-day operations.

The role will include working evenings, public holidays, and weekends.

The role will include purchasing and creating menus and taking group bookings.

The right applicant will hold an LCQ certificate and have worked in a similar environment. We will consider other applications if the person is in a position to obtain a manager's certificate immediately. Immediate start available, but we are happy to work around notice periods.
