This role is responsible for coordinating the post trade lifecycle management of Markets transactions, to ensure efficient, complete and accurate capture and processing of Markets transactions. The role works very closely with Front Office Trading and Sales staff, together with Markets Operations teams, for trade processing issue remediation, along with identification and implementation of trade flow process and control improvements.Role Type: Permanent Role Location: WellingtonKa aha to ra e kite ai? - What will your day look likeAs the Manager, Front Office & Client Support, you will: Support the growing Markets business in New Zealand and provide additional support to the global team and key stakeholders as required. Review current local & global Markets processes, propose improvements, and ensure compliance with regulatory changes. Maintain strong knowledge of Front to Back processes, ensure that controls and procedures are adhered to, and keep abreast of regulatory changes and operational risks. Manage post trade lifecycle issue management and support (cancellations, amendments, options expiries, STP issues etc.) on behalf of the Trading & Sales desk. Drive the development and review of new and existing trade capture booking models for new product implementation. Drive the development of internal controls for trade capture models, mitigating operational risks. Manage 1 direct report. Contribute to fostering a strong, collaborative culture and positive team dynamic - consistent with ANZ's values.Ou Pukenga? - What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Experience in the financial services industry, and ideally Institutional Markets. Strong working knowledge of different asset classes (FX, Commodities, Rates & Credit, as well as structured products). Knowledge of Middle Office processes and the Front Office trading system, Murex. Knowledge of broker execution platforms is advantageous. Comfort being flexible in your daily work routine, to cater to ad hoc investigations or reporting requirements. Ability to work on an individual basis, but also part of a bigger global team. Ability to influence stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes, and ease building strong working relationships within and across business units. Strong customer service ethic, subject to maintaining internal controls.You're not expected to have % of these skills.
