The Facilities & Asset Planning team is experienced and driven and are appointing a Manager to ensure the successful ongoing delivery of asset planning and data management objectives. Leading a team of five, you will coordinate resources to ensure short/medium term planning and asset objectives are met. You will foster collaboration within the Resources Group and across Council teams, ensuring the sustainable management of assets is aligned with the city's strategic goals.
This is a key role where you will lead the team in developing and maintaining activity management and service delivery plans and ensuring planning for infrastructure delivery is keeping pace with city growth.
Minimum Requirements: Your background will demonstrate at least five years previous experience in asset planning and data management and experience working in a large complex organisation. You will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline or have extensive experience in a similar role.

The ability to think strategically and successfully deliver operational requirements. Sound commercial acumen with the ability to drive new initiatives, focusing on results and improving better outcomes for Council facilities. Well-developed written and verbal communication, be an adept presenter of ideas and can work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders. Outstanding communication skills and an interpersonal style that enables you to develop and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with a range of people - internal and external. High levels of energy and motivation and a drive to make a difference and contribute directly to the community and make a positive impact on the lives of residents and visitors.
