Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity Allied Health is seeking an experienced leader for the position of Speech Language therapy and Psychology Manager, within the Allied health service at Health New Zealand.
The position manages allied health staff in inpatients and out patients at Waikato District.
Key responsibilities of the role include: * Lead a diverse team of health professionals to achieve our organisational strategic goals * Provide managerial oversight of the team, including people management, budgeting, reporting, and risk management * Collaborate with other professions, departments, organisations, and sectors to improve our services and provide the best possible care for patients and their whānau.

Mōu | About you Skills and experience you will need to be considered for the role: * Robust skills in human resources, financial management, service quality risk and operational management.
* A passion for wellbeing and experience working in the Health Sector.
* Strong leadership and management skills, ideally with management experience covering multiple clinical and service areas.
* Expertise in building relationships, especially with senior health care professionals.
* Knowledge of integrated service delivery * Tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience * Current full New Zealand driver's licence * Minimum of 3 years experience in a leadership role Desired experience and qualifications: * Experience in implementing Te Tiriti o Waitangi in action * Experience in managing a team of more than 10 staff Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service The Allied Health service includes dietitians, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, social workers, speech language therapists, audiologists, newborn hearing screeners and allied health assistants located throughout the Waikato district.
The staff work within a range of health service teams across the Waikato district including hospital and community settings.
