Our Kawerau saw milling operation has 180+ employees andhas just completed a significant upgrade programme which demonstrates ourcommitment to the market. The site is ledby an exceptional Site Manager driving a performance-based environment and is committedto the site's success.As the key financial person at the site, you will bepredominantly hands on to deliver to the site's needs, but you won't be on yourown as you will have guidance from the Head Office finance team. This role plays an important part in the success of thesite through managing and controlling the accounting and administrativefunctions which includes:Providing accurate and timely financialinformation and analysis to enable quality decision making, and recommendationsto improve operating efficiency and EBITCompleting all month end and other cyclicalprocessesEnsure internal stock controls and managementare in place, co-ordinating stock takes and reconciliationProvide accurate product costing for accuratestock valuationProvide financial coaching and guidance otherlead team membersTake a leadership role in developing andmaintaining a robust performance improvement programmeCoordinating the annual plan, ensuring its timelydeliveryManagement of a small teamExperience and qualifications that would support yoursuccess include:Bachelor of Commerce in AccountingChartered AccountantERP system (we use SAP)Strong analytical skillsAbility to effectively influence across alllevelsManufacturing experience, preferably in sawmillenvironmentCosting knowledgeThis role willgive you the scope to make it your own.
