Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Management Accountant with experience in the manufacturing sector to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Analyse production costs and performance metrics to identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
Collaborate with operational teams to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
Qualifications:
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant professional qualification preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a management accounting role within the manufacturing sector.
Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
Proficiency in Xero software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
