We currently have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Management Accountant to join our team and support key business units with financial insights and strategic guidance.
The role: Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide finance business partner support to business units by analysing revenue, volume, and cost drivers to guide business decisions. You'll lead budgeting and forecasting processes, develop Solver models, and prepare monthly management reports, offering timely insights into financial performance and cost-saving opportunities.
Working closely with the finance team, you will manage and refine the Board reporting process, contribute to report development and simplify finance processes to ensure efficient, high-quality financial support for managers and stakeholders.
The essential skills and experience needed for growing success: Minimum 3 years' experience in a complex business environment across the functions described aboveProven working experience in a dynamic commercial environment in an accounting roleThorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures Good technical capability around accounting software, systems and budgeting/forecasting toolsHigh level of business acumen and a solution focused mindset with demonstrated ability to resolve complex problemsProven ability to build productive relationships with multiple stakeholdersStrong communication skills and a track record of creating impactAbility to make challenging decisions supporting strategic aims and long-term visionCA qualified or have significant accounting background and knowledge Exposure to grower-based businesses and the primary sector would be beneficial but not essentialJoin a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business based in Hawke's Bay, built on a legacy of sustainable practices and committed to the wellbeing of our team and the environment.
