If you possess the expertise and a proactive attitude to deliver exceptional service to our community, we'd love to hear from you!    Buller District Council is seeking a Management Accountant to lead best practise financial management over Council infrastructure assets and financial reporting to meet asset management and annual reporting requirements.  What will you do? You will provide expertise in Infrastructure Asset Management and financial support to budget managers across the organisation. You will also assist the Manager Finance with the development and implementation of Council's Strategic Financial Planning and Policies and the management of the asset ledger operations, system maintenance and rates functions.  Who are you? You will have solid technical accounting and financial analysis skills, and be able to demonstrate understanding of financial systems and operations ideally in a local government environment. In addition, you will have a good working knowledge of financial systems, including concepts, principles, planning and reporting.   A team player with Excellent relationship building and communication skills are essential to this role.  Why Join Us?
