This role requires a candidate with both management and financial accounting experience.As a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing financial information for various stakeholders, including senior management, the board of directors, investors, and tax authorities. Duties may include:Analysing financial data to support business profitability and growthPreparation of annual consolidated financial statementsFinancial analysis and planningProviding accurate and relevant management reporting to support decision-makingMonth-end and year-end journal entriesPreparation of monthly group statutory and management accountsContribution to annual budgeting and planningCapital expenditure managementFinancial statement preparation, including P&L accounts, cash flows, and variancesEnsuring compliance with financial regulationsMentoring and supporting other members of the Finance teamReviewing and improving accounting processes and practices for efficiencyAssisting in the annual external audit processPerforming monthly balance sheet reconciliationsReporting to the Finance Manager based in Dunedin, you will also provide direct support to the CFO based in London.About you:To succeed in this role, you will need:A minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience (CAANZ, CIMA, ACCA, ACA, or similar)Experience in end-of-month reporting for multiple entitiesA proactive and motivated attitude, willing to collaborate with cross-functional teamsThe ability to adapt and take on various roles within the Finance team as neededExcellent communication skills to present financial data effectively to non-financial managersStrong time management skills and attention to detailAn ability to follow procedures and take initiative when necessaryA strong sense of pride in delivering high-quality workThe ability to work on both complex tasks and routine assignmentsAn effective team player with great interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft OfficeThis is a re-listed role.
