Management Accountant

Operating in the high country of the South Island near Twizel, High Country Salmon is a family-owned success story, farming the healthiest Salmon in the fresh flowing mountain fed waters of Wairepo Arm. Situated on SH8, tourism plays a major part of the business, customers delight in feeding our fish, enjoying a meal at Logans Café or selecting a choice sample of freshly caught salmon from our shop to enjoy later.To help with our growth, we've recently installed Business Central and here's where the neat opportunity arises for you. The implementation has gone really well, but our MD is stretched and onto the next project…. She needs your help to really make it sing!This role will suit an accountant with ERP experience, or someone who may have been exposed to food production or tourism in the past, either way you've got a good understanding of accounting and are keen to help us improve business clarity and decision making.You'll be reporting directly to the MD and working daily with the lead team to make a difference.So, if you've got an accounting background and are interested in either full or part-time work, then talk to us about your circumstances…. let's see what we can make work!Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEnsure smooth integration of sales systems (Shopify and Lightspeed)Prepare monthly management accountsReview product costs and marginsWork with lead team membersDevelop full year forecasts and budgetsPayrollQualifications and Experience3-5 years accounting experienceERP experienceWillingness to jump in, problem solve and train others.
