We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Management Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the Financial Controller in maintaining the finance function, budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of monthly management accounts.
Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include the following: Contributing to the preparation of monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of month end reporting tasksPreparation of reconciliations for key account ledgersManagement of Accounts Payable, Receivables and Fixed Asset RegisterCollaborate with the SLT and wider business in the budget and forecasting processCashflow managementCollaborating with peers and stakeholders to understand business needs and prepare impactful reports on financial performance and key metricsConducting financial analysis and modelling to support business needsContributing to and supporting the continuous improvement of financial processesAbout you You possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Your experience in budgeting, forecasting, and the month-end close process enables you to make meaningful contributions to financial planning and reporting. With excellent communication skills, you can clearly and concisely present complex financial data to various stakeholders. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines ensure that you consistently deliver accurate results on time. A relevant qualification and minimum of three years of expectance is required.
