Fluid Recruitment are recruiting for a commercial client who is a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation in the manufacturing field.

My client is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join their finance team.
If you have a passion for numbers, a keen eye for detail, and a drive to support strategic business decisions, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare, analyse, and report monthly management accounts, including profit and loss, balance sheet, and cash flow statements.
Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring accurate financial planning across departments.
Analyse financial performance by department and provide insight into key variances, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
Support senior management with financial reports to aid strategic decision-making.
Maintain and improve internal controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Conduct financial analysis of current and past financial data, as well as forecasting future financial performance.
Collaborate with department heads to monitor and control spending, ensuring alignment with budgets.
Assist in preparing for year-end audits and liaising with external auditors.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and enhance financial models to support business growth and efficiency.
Key Requirements: Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent).
Proven experience in a management accounting or similar role.
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate financial information effectively to non-financial stakeholders.
High attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships across the business.
Desirable: Experience working within manufacturing or similar fast-paced environments.
Knowledge of financial analysis tools and techniques.
Experience with ERP systems and financial process automation.
NZ experience.
