Reporting to the NZ Financial Controller, the Management Accountant will contribute heavily to this journey's success by providing timely and effective monthly management reporting and accurate forecasting. This permanent full-time role is not an average Management Accounting position; we are after someone who is comfortable stretching their comfort zone to include Business Analytics partnership skills as well. About the role Supporting the Financial Controller, and as a key contributor within the finance teamyou will: Complete month-end rebates and reporting Process general journals Build forecasts to assist business planning and decision-making Assist in annual budgets Help create analytical dashboards to "tell the story" Analysis of historical financials and variance explanations Become a business partner to the business functions About you With 5+ years of experiencein the Manufacturing or FMCG sector, you will join us with an innovative and progressive mind. You are someone who enjoys contributing ideas. You are a problem solver and can think through ways to simplify processes without cutting out steps or quality standards. You love seeking out better and more efficient ways to complete a task. It goes without saying that you possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, who can relate to people with varying work styles and adapt accordingly. Yourin-depth knowledge of ERP systems like SAP is exemplary, as is yourproficiency with complex data sets and tools for predicting business trends using tools like Power BI.
