We provide opportunities for young to old for social interaction and well-being, recreation, to feed their knowledge and imaginations, build their lives, find direction, and upskill themselves.We are looking for a second part time Makerspace Specialist to join our Community Hub Team. This is an exciting new space that promotes a community-driven learning environment to help shape the innovators and entrepreneurs of the future. To be successful in this role, you will have an affinity for helping people, be technologically savvy, be a keen tinkerer, and be confident in teaching and interacting with our diverse community. You will also have the ability to develop and implement digital literacy, Makerspace and technology-focused programs, activities, and events. These could be onsite, or out in our community through our outreach services.If you are passionate about working with technology and becoming an enabler for the community to explore, create, and develop skills in the Makerspace. Have experience providing excellent customer experiences, a 'can do' attitude, and a high level of literacy, then you may be the person we are looking for.This position is 3 days part-time (24-hours) on a roster basis. Week 1: Thursday - Saturday, Week 2: Thursday - Saturday, Week 3: Monday, Thursday Friday (Saturday off), Week 4: Thursday - Saturday.
