Job Description He aha te turanga - About the role: The Major Incident Support Team (MIST) plays a crucial role in ensuring that Hato Hone St John delivers a world-leading response during major incidents and large events. The MIST volunteers are non-clinical and support the Ambulance Operations and Event Health Services teams at planned and unplanned events during periods of high workload or crisis. This could include major sporting events, festivals, concerts, as well as responding to major incidents and natural disasters. There are 4 areas where you can be involved (although you may not be needed at each event). These include Administration, Communications, Welfare, and Logistics. Qualifications Ko wai koe - About you: Our ideal candidates have: A current, clean full NZ Driver's Licence class 1 required, with the ability to drive both automatic and manual vehicles confidently.
