From day-to-day site servicing to major summer events across the North Island, they pride themselves on reliability and excellence.In this position, you'll play a critical role in keeping the company's fleet of equipment and portaloos in top condition. The role is largely self-managed and perfect for someone who thrives on variety and responsibility.Our clients enjoys the close-knit, work hard, have fun team culture and is looking for the perfect person to keep driving this and ensuring that everyone loves coming to work & getting stuck in.Key Responsibilities:Overseeing and maintaining trucks, including COFs, tyres, oils, and fluids, and arranging servicingDiagnosing and repairing issues with truck components, such as electric water pumps, switches, and pressure systemsBeing the primary contact for drivers during the day for mechanical issues and ensuring solutions are implemented swiftlyKeeping the yard clean and tidyRepairing and maintaining the portaloo fleetConducting Health & Safety audits and running toolbox talksActing as the first backup driver for trucks, including delivering portaloos to events during the busy summer seasonWhat They're Looking For:Mechanical experience, ideally within automotive or small equipment industryPractical problem-solving skills with the ability to assess and fix issues quicklyA self-motivated, reliable, and organised individualFull Class 1 driver's license (Class 2 a bonus)If you're a mechanically savvy, handyman type person ready to take on a role with variety, responsibility, and room to grow, we want to hear from you!
