SPL is a leading New Zealand greenhouse specialist, growing capsicums and snack cucumbers, and packing avocados, located in Warkworth. We currently operate 27 hectares of glasshouse and run a capsicum packhouse and avocado packhouse onsite. SPL supplies produce to large domestic and export markets.

About the Role:
Full time permanent role
4-day week, permanently rostered Friday – Monday (Weekends)
Located in Warkworth

Responsibilities
Carrying out preventative maintenance activities on glasshouse and packhouse equipment.
Attending to breakdowns.
Ensuring our water and irrigation systems are functioning well.
Assisting with upkeep of our workshop, maintaining stocks of parts and equipment.
Participate in after hours on call duty roster.
What We Are Looking for:
A positive and good communicator.
Can work efficiently within our busy production environment.
Flexibility with hours.
Able to cope with some work in a humid glasshouse.
Previous maintenance experience in manufacturing or production type environment would be beneficial.
Applicable trade qualifications or certificates is favourable.
