As Maintenance Team Leader – Brewing & Utilities, you will be leading a team of three tradespeople in the Brewing & Utilities side of the Waitemata Brewery. You will be a key player in ensuring Maintenance Standards are top of the line. Embedding a Continuous Improvement mindset into your team to deliver high quality maintenance of the DB Breweries will be a key pillar for your success. Showing up for your team with a growth mindset, being a team player and being adaptable to the ever-changing world of FMCG is paramount in this position! You will deliver the goods by: Developing and leading the B&U team – ensuring you are driving performance and developing the team as per the skills matrix. Ensuring all legal, safety, quality and compliance tasks are completed OTIF. Driving maintenance standards on the shop floor, focusing on asset care and reliability improvement. Supporting the budget setting for B&U, including R&M investment. Leading maintenance shift handover meetings to solve reliability losses, supports the operators with machine set ups and changeovers. Leads RCFA and 5 why analyses with the B&U Maintenance team. Enforces maintenance standards on the shop floor, specifically focused on asset care and reliability improvement. Supporting the application of 5S and VM to enable the sustainability of machine performance. Supervising and coordinating all planned/unplanned maintenance work. Ensuring OTIF execution maintenance work - working closely with the operational team. Driving systematic processes (Minor Stop/Breakdown Reduction, Spare Parts Management) with team via use of appropriate TPM tools. About you… Minimum secondary education, and; NZCE or Advanced Trade Certificate in Mechanical/ Electrical (Level 4) - Diploma or University Degree in Engineering (Level 6 or 7). Preference for experience in: Maintenance within the food/beverage/Brewing/FMCG industry (3-5 years). CMMS (computerised maintenance management systems). Continuous improvement in FMCG Operations/Maintenance i.e., TPM / Lean / 6 Sigma. Experience in a Utilities Department of a production Company. Good knowledge of maintenance engineering, supply and inventory management processes. Actively managing, coordinating, and supervising Service/ Engineering suppliers. Sound like the role for you?
